ALF™  INSPECTIONS AND SERVICING

The ALF™ is a two-way locking pulley, designed to be used as part of a continuous loop system, in order to protect climbers as the climb vertical structures.  Like any part of your High Ropes Course, it is vital that this device is inspected regularly to ensure safe operation of your Course. High Ropes Builders is pleased to be an approved provider of this service.

An ISC ALF - ALF Inspections and Maintenance

Why get your ALF Serviced?

Because if you want it working right (and safely), it needs a proper check-up — at least once a year, and maybe more often if it's used a lot or under tough conditions.

An annual inspection is a requirement for the safe use of the ALF under the manufacturer's guidelines, and as part of your Periodical Inspection process.

Who should do it?

Only the manufacturer (ISC) — or a qualified, authorised technician such as High Ropes Builders Ltd — should handle servicing

What we do when you send us your ALF

  • Start with a full visual inspection to make sure everything looks good.

  • Do a detailed check: we dismantle the unit, examine it thoroughly for wear or damage.

  • Replace little bits (springs, screws, etc.) as needed to keep performance top-notch. If bigger parts like the anchor eye, pawl, or cam-plate need changing, we’ll let you know and quote extra.

  • Once it’s all good, we send you a certificate to confirm the service is done.
